Synopsis
[Windows]
soperationmgr [/a]
[UNIX]
soperationmgr [-a]
Description
This command starts Systemwalker Operation Manager services/daemons in batch.
Options
/a [Windows]
-a [UNIX]
Specified to simultaneously start the services/daemons of Systemwalker Operation Manager and Systemwalker Centric Manager when the two systems coexist on the same machine. If this option is omitted, only the Systemwalker Operation Manager services/daemons including common services/daemons are started.
If Systemwalker Centric Manager is not installed, the Systemwalker Operation Manager services/daemons are started, regardless of whether this option is specified or not.
Command Location
Windows | <Systemwalker Operation Manager installation directory>\MpWalker.JM\bin |
Solaris | /opt/systemwalker/bin |
Privilege Required
System administrator (user belonging to the Administrators group or superuser) privileges are required.
Cautions
A full path must be specified with this command.
If the services/daemons common to Systemwalker Operation Manager and Systemwalker Centric Manager are already active in Systemwalker Centric Manager when the startup request is made with this command, this request is accepted because multiple startup is ignored.
If an error occurs during service/daemon activation, correct the error and then reexecute the soperationmgr command to restart the services/daemons.
Service designated as automatic in [Service] on [Control Panel] can be started up with this command. To activate a service, set the service to be activated automatically in [Service] on [Control Panel] in advance. [Windows]
If SystemWalker/CentricMGR V5.0L10 or earlier has been installed, its services can also be started up with this command. [Windows]
If you execute this command using a Systemwalker Operation Manager job, the operation of Systemwalker Operation Manager and Systemwalker Centric Manager cannot be guaranteed. See "Commands that Should Not Be Executed as Jobs" in the Systemwalker Operation Manager User's Guide for details.
In Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, the operating system may need to be stopped or restarted even if the daemons are configured to stop automatically when the operating system is stopped.
In this case, manually execute the poperationmgr service/daemon termination command in advance to stop the Systemwalker Operation Manager daemons. [Linux]
