2.1 Messages Starting with ACL Manager

This section explains the following list of messages starting with ACL Manager.

These messages are output by ACL Manager.

[Windows]ACL Manager: INFO: 1: Systemwalker ACL Manager has started.

[Description]

Systemwalker ACL Manager service has started.

[Windows]ACL Manager: INFO: 2: Systemwalker ACL Manager has ended.

[Description]

Systemwalker ACL Manager service has stopped.

[Windows]ACL Manager: ERROR: 3: Systemwalker ACL Manager abnormally ended. %1 (%2)

[Description]

Systemwalker ACL Manager service has been terminated abnormally.

[System Action]

Ends the service.

[Parameter]

Restart the system.

If this message is output even after restarting the system, collect maintenance information about security function by using the Maintenance Information Collection Tool then contact a Fujitsu system engineer.

On the Maintenance Information Collection Tool, check Framework and Security.

[Windows]ACL Manager: WARNING: 6: The audit log is full. Create a backup file. (file name: %1)

[Description]

The audit log file has become full. Create a backup file.

[Parameter]

%1: Name of the audit log file that is full.

[System Administrator Response]

Create a backup file for the audit log file.

[Windows]ACL Manager: WARNING: 7: The audit system log is full.Create a backup file. (file name: %1)

[Description]

The audit setup log file has become full. Create a backup file.

[Parameter]

%1: Name of the audit setup log file that is full.

[System Administrator Response]

Create a backup file for the audit setup log file.

[Description]

An audit record could not been created.

[Parameter]

Check whether the audit environment is set up correctly using "mplstaudit" command. For details on using the mplstaudit command, refer the Systemwalker Centric Manager Reference Guide.

If this message is output even after setting the monitoring environment correctly, collect data about security function by using the Maintenance Information Collection Tool and then contact a Fujitsu system engineer.

[Windows]ACL Manager: WARNING: 9: Access control information was restored incompletely. For details, see %1 .

[Description]

Access control information has not been restored completely.

[Parameter]

%1: Name of the file containing detailed information on the error in restoration.

[System Administrator Response]

Eliminate the cause of the error by referring to the information in the file. Then restore access control information again.

[Windows]ACL Manager: WARNING: 10: Failed to convert internal data for changed name of this computer or domain.(%1:%2)

[Description]

The computer name or domain name has been changed, but the internal data has not been converted.

[Parameter]

[System Administrator Response]

A user belonging to the Administrator group should perform the following operation:

  1. Execute "mkbat -j -f any name".

  2. Execute the batch file created in 1).

[Windows]ACL Manager: WARNING: 15: Access control information was saved incompletely. For details, see %1 .

[Description]

Some access control information could not be saved.

This message is output only in cluster environment.

[Parameter]

%1: Name of the file containing detailed information on the error in saving.

[System Administrator Response]

Eliminate the cause of the error by referring to the information in the file. Then save access control information manually by using the mpcssave command. For details on using the mpcssave command, refer the Systemwalker Operation Manager Reference Guide.

[Windows]ACL Manager: WARNING: 17: Failed to apply the policy information. File: %1

[Description]

Policy information could not be set.

[Parameter]

%1: Name of the policy information file (full path)

[System Administrator Response]

A message indicating the cause of policy information setting failure and corrective action is output after this message.

Eliminate the cause of the failure by referring to the message output after this message.

[Windows]ACL Manager: ERROR: 18: Systemwalker Operation Manager accounts are missing. Register all accounts used by Systemwalker Operation Manager.

[Description]

The accounts using Systemwalker Operation Manager do not exist in the policy information distribution target server.

Register the missing account in the policy information distribution target server so that the account information in the policy information extraction source server and that in the policy information distribution target server are identical.

[System Administrator Response]

Register the accounts using Systemwalker Operation Manager registered in the policy information extraction source server in the policy distribution target server and retry distribution of policy information.

The information on the accounts using Systemwalker Operation Manager in the policy extraction source server can be confirmed by executing the mplstacluser command on it.

[Windows]ACL Manager: ERROR: 19: An unexpected error occurred while applying the policy information. Detail code: %1

[Description]

Policy information distribution encountered an unexpected error.

[Parameter]

[System Administrator Response]

Collect data about security function on both the policy information extraction source and distribution target servers by using the Maintenance Information Collection Tool, and then contact a Fujitsu system engineer.

[Windows]ACL Manager: WARNING: 20: Failed to load the audit log library.

[Description]

The audit log could not be output because a problem occurred when an attempt was made to load the library used to output the audit log.

[System Action]

Continues processing, but does not output the audit log.

[Corrective Measures]

Check whether the following files exist. If they do, one or more of the files may have become corrupted. In such cases, either reinstall Systemwalker Operation Manager or contact a Fujitsu SE.

Systemwalker installation directory\MPWALKER.JM\bin\mpaudito.dll

[Windows]ACL Manager: WARNING: 21: Failed to read the audit log file.

[Description]

The audit log could not be output because a problem occurred when an attempt was made to open the audit log output file.

[System Action]

Continues processing, but does not output the audit log.

[Corrective Measures]

  • Check that there is sufficient free space.

  • Check that the directory where the audit log is to be output exists.

  • Check the permissions/rights associated with the directory where the audit log is to be output. If user restriction definitions are not used, the directory must be able to be written to by General Users/Everyone.

  • The audit log output file may be corrupt. Back up the damaged file and then delete it.

  • If a problem has occurred on the disk where the audit log is to be output, it may be necessary to replace or restore the hard disk.

The audit log output file and directory can be specified using the mpsetlogsend_omgr command. Refer to the Systemwalker Operation Manager Reference Guide for details on the mpsetlogsend_omgr command.
