Points to check
Has the client Task Link engine started in the client specified in the first parameter of the client Task Link command?
Cause
The client Task Link engine has not started in the client.
Action method
Start the client Task Link engine in the Systemwalker Operation Manager client, by selecting Start (or Apps) >> Systemwalker Operation Manager and selecting Client Task Link.
Note that, by configuring the settings described in "Definition for Task Link with Clients" of the Installation Guide, the client Task Link engine (cnscleng.exe) can be made to start automatically when the Windows login is performed.

Can the host name specified in the first parameter of the client Task Link command be resolved correctly to the IP address?
Whether the host name could be resolved to the IP address or not can be confirmed by specifying the host name in the ping command.
In the example above, hostname is the host name specified in the parameter of the client Task Link command.
Cause
The host name cannot be resolved to the IP address.
Action method
Perform one of the following procedures:
Configure the network settings in the parameter of the Task Link command so that the host name specified can be resolved.
Specify the IP address in the parameter of the Task Link command.
