If you are considering using a commercial backup product to back up the following directories and their subdirectories, note that the Systemwalker Operation Manager service must be stopped before backing up these directories.
If the following resources are backed up without stopping the Systemwalker service, Systemwalker Operation Manager may stop running correctly.
Job Execution Control directory
mpwalker.jm\mpmjessv in the Systemwalker Operation Manager installation directory
Job Execution Control spool directory
Default: mpwalker.jm\mpmjessv\mjespool in the Systemwalker Operation Manager installation directory
Database directory for the Jobscheduler
Default: mpwalker.jm\mpjobsch\jobdb in the Systemwalker Operation Manager installation directory
Calendar information directory
mpwalker.jm\mpjmcal\caldb in the Systemwalker Operation Manager installation directory
Database directory for the Master Schedule Management function
mpwalker.jm\mpstemsv in the Systemwalker Operation Manager installation directory
If the system also includes Systemwalker Centric Manager, it is necessary to stop the Systemwalker Centric Manager service as well.
