With this product, a storage device's Extreme Cache can be managed. Tasks can be performed with the same operability without having to be conscious of limitations due to the type or model of the storage device.
Operations regarding Extreme Cache can be executed to a storage device or volume. This section will explain the operations in relation to a storage device. Refer to "6.1.2 Volume Management" for information on operations in relation to a volume.
Select the target storage device with the Web Console, and select the operation from the Action pane.
The operations that can be executed are as follows:
Extreme Cache Configuration
Enable/Disable
Size of Extreme Cache

In order to utilize the Extreme Cache function, it is required that configuration for the storage device is enabled.
When the configuration for the storage device is disabled, the Extreme Cache function cannot be utilized, regardless of the enabled / disabled configurations of each volume.
