6.12.3 Change FC/iSCSI/SAS Port Settings

The procedure to change the FC/iSCSI/SAS port settings is as follows:

On the global navigation tab, click Storage.
The registered ETERNUS Disk storage systems are displayed on the Main pane.
On the Main pane, click the target ETERNUS Disk storage system.
On the Category pane, click Connectivity.
The port type list is displayed on the Main pane.
On the Main pane, click the digit of Number of Ports field for the target port.
The target port list is displayed on the Main pane.
On the Main pane, check the target port checkbox.
When changing a FC port, click the target action under Port on the Action pane.
The information input screen is displayed.
Enter the necessary information, and then click Modify.

Point

The setting of the basic IP address #0 information can be changed when Multi-VLAN function of the iSCSI port is enabled.

Note

The deletion and preservation information when the FC port mode or the iSCSI port mode is changed are as follows:

When the FC port mode is changed, FC port setting returns to initial value.
When the iSCSI port mode is changed, iSCSI port setting returns to initial value.
Setting the IP address, link local IP address, connection IP address, iSCSI name, or iSCSI alias name of an iSCSI port the same as another iSCSI port may not be allowed. Refer to [Note] in "Connectivity Management" in the ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Operation Guide for details.
If the port is iSCSI-RA, Transfer Rate and iSCSI Name cannot be changed by the Web Console.
If it needs to be changed, use the ETERNUS Web GUI.
