The procedure to register a tape library (other than ETERNUS LT250/LT270) is as follows:
On the global navigation tab, click Storage.
On the Category pane, click Tape Library (Manual).
The registered tape libraries are displayed on the Main pane.
On the Action pane, click Register under Tape Library.
The information input screen is displayed.
Enter the necessary information, and then click Register.
Note
An IP address that has already been registered as a tape library cannot be specified.
A name that has already been registered as a tape library other than ETERNUS LT250/LT270 cannot be specified.
Make URL set to the Management Software either following formats. If the format does not differ from which format, an unexpected action may be done.

If the tape library is a dual stack device to which both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are configured, register either of the two addresses.
