6.1.6 Change Storage System Name or Box ID for ETERNUS Disk Storage System

The procedure to change the ETERNUS Disk storage system name or Box ID managed by this product is as follows:

1. Delete the target ETERNUS Disk storage system. Refer to "6.1.3 Delete ETERNUS Disk Storage System" for details.

2. Re-register the target ETERNUS Disk storage system. Refer to "6.1.1 Register ETERNUS Disk Storage System" for details.

3. When you were using Advanced Copy function before changing the name or Box ID, re-configure the connection conditions of ETERNUS Disk storage system. Refer to "6.11.2 Configure Connection Type for ETERNUS Disk Storage System" for details.

Note

This procedure does not include instructions for:

• Changing the storage system name of ETERNUS Disk storage system itself

• Changing the Box ID of ETERNUS Disk storage system itself
