12.5.3 Changing Port Number of Management Server or Managed Server

Change the port number of a Management Server or Managed Server as follows:

When changing port numbers for AdvancedCopy Manager communication services:

  1. On the Management Server or Managed Server targeted for change, change the port number of the communications service (stgxfws) of AdvancedCopy Manager.
    Change the port number of the communications service (stgxfws) described at %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\services.

  2. On the Management Server or Managed Server targeted for change, restart the services of AdvancedCopy Manager. For information on this, refer to "Chapter 2 Starting and Stopping Services".

  3. On the Management Server, create a server information change instruction file, and then execute the stgxfwcmmodsrv command with the -f option specified to change the port number.

  4. Refer to "Reload Server Configuration Information" in the ETERNUS SF Web Console Guide, and reload the configuration information of the Management Server or Managed Server.

When changing port numbers for other than AdvancedCopy Manager communication services:

Refer to "Changing Port Numbers (Windows)" in the ETERNUS SF Express Operation Guide. Replace "Express" with "AdvancedCopy Manager" to read the manual.
