Pay attention to the following points when you design a disk configuration:
The disks of transaction and backup volumes must be allocated to the same ETERNUS Disk storage system.
Make sure that transaction and backup volumes have the same disk sizes.
Only basic disks are supported. Dynamic disks are not supported.
Usable disk formats are MBR and GPT.

Multiple partitions can be created on a single disk.
Backup, however, is performed disk by disk, so all partitions on a disk will be backed up simultaneously.
