*1: If the Management Server has multiple IP addresses, specify IP addresses available for communication between the Management Server and all of the AdvancedCopy Manager's agents.
*2: Specify the IPv4 address confirmed in the "3.1.9 IP address confirmation" section to do pre-installation work. When using both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses for the Management Server or even when using only IPv6, specify IPv4 address. On completion of installation, refer to "4.4.5 Updating Management Server IP address information" to add or change IPv6 address.
*3: When changing a port number, specify an unused port number. Values between 1024 and 65535 are valid.

Characters " | : * ? / . < > , % & ^ = ! ; # ' @ ( ) + are not supported for directory name.
The number of characters specifiable for directory name is 4 to 70.
Do not specify the directory with a relative path. Specify it with an absolute path.

Do not select the option [Compress drive to save disk space] in the General tab for any of these drives.
If the drive is compressed, there is more overhead than normal I/O operations. Depending on I/O, an access error may occur because of insufficient operating system resources.
Do not check the [Compress or Encrypt Attributes] in the Advanced Attributes section of the Properties or Advanced part of the General tab.
Load is increased for a compressed and/or encrypted drive. Access errors may occur in an OS with insufficient resources.
If the encryption property is selected, access errors may occur when decryption cannot be performed.

Point
Only CR+LF is available for linefeed code. Do not use CR or LF.

Note
With ETERNUS SF Manager, Internal Port 5 is the communication port number used internally. In the Windows environment, it is not possible to specify Internal Port 5 in the install parameter file.
When changing the port number for Internal Port 5, in advance on the Servers for installation, edit the %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\services file manually, and define the following service name and unused port number in the range 1024-65535.
