7.3.5 Uninstalling the Uninstallation and Management (middleware)

This section describes how to uninstall the Uninstallation and Management (middleware).

  1. Start the tool and check whether there are any other Fujitsu middleware products left on the system.

    [Windows]

    Start menu:

    Select Start or Apps, then Fujitsu >> Uninstall (middleware).

    [Linux] [Solaris]

    /opt/FJSVcir/cir/bin/cimanager.sh [-c]

    -c: Command interface

  2. If no Fujitsu middleware products have been installed, then issue the command below:

    [Windows]

    %SystemDrive%\FujitsuF4CR\bin\cirremove.exe

    [Linux] [Solaris]

    # /opt/FJSVcir/bin/cirremove.sh

  3. At the uninstallation confirmation prompt, enter "y":

    "This software is a tool that is shared with other Fujitsu products. Are you sure you want to remove this software? [y/n]"
  4. Uninstallation will start.

    The process will take a few seconds.

  5. Uninstallation will complete.

    The directories below and its files will still remain, and must be manually deleted:

    %SystemDrive%\FujitsuF4CR

    %ProgramData%\Fujitsu\FujitsuF4CR (Other than Windows XP and Windows Server 2003)

    %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Fujitsu\FujitsuF4CR (For Windows XP or Windows Server 2003)

    /var/opt/FJSVcir
