C.7.7 [OS] Tab Configuration

Enter the parameters to set for the OS when creating the L-Server.

In L-Server creation, perform settings to start the non-global zone.

For Oracle Solaris Zones, only the following parameters are reflected.

If any other parameters are set, they will be ignored.

Enter the host name.
When creating multiple NICs in the host name of the non-global zone, the second and later NICs will be configured in the following format:
Specified host name-sequential number
Enter a character string containing up to 21 alphanumeric characters and hyphens ("-").
Hyphens ("-") cannot be specified for the first or last characters.

If underscores ("_") or periods (".") are used in an L-Server name, they will be replaced with hyphens ("-"), because these characters cannot be used for host names or computer names.
If the basic information is not specified, the L-Server name is converted and set as indicated above.

Administrator password

Set the administrator password for the L-Server.
Enter the password using between 1 and 255 alphanumeric characters or symbols.

* Note: When the value is specified in the OS property definition file, its values are configured.

OS Property Definition File

By setting the default values in an OS property definition file in advance, the default values of the information on the [OS] tab, etc. are generated when creating an L-Server.
