Chapter 15 Collecting and Registering Cloning Images

This chapter explains how to collect and register L-Server cloning images.

When the OS is Linux

On Redhat Enterprise Linux 6, the information for MAC address is also registered in /etc/udev/rules.d/70persistent-net.rules.
Delete the virtual network interface definition information for /etc/udev/rules.d/70persistent-net.rules, before collecting images.

When the OS is Windows

Resource Orchestrator collects cloning images using Sysprep.

When using MAK license authentication for activation for the following OSs, Sysprep can be executed a maximum of three times.

Cloning images cannot be collected four times or more from L-Servers to which cloning images have been deployed.

Collect cloning images by creating a dedicated L-Server for cloning image collection.

Operation Methods for Cloning Image Collection
