SSL communication is used to access the ROR console from a browser.
During setup, a self-signed certificate (referred to as "test certificate") will be automatically created by default. This chapter describes the procedure to replace this test certificate with another certificate.
The procedures described in this chapter are not necessary if the test certificate is used.

When using Java(TM) Platform, Standard Edition Runtime Environment Version 7 (hereinafter JRE7) on a client, as JRE7 has improved security functions, the console connection function of L-Servers and the VM management console starting function cannot be used.
To use these functions in a JRE7 environment, as well as the procedures in this chapter, follow the procedure for "Adding the Admin Server's Certificate to Client Browsers" in "Appendix B HTTPS Communications" in the "Design Guide CE". Create a certificate corresponding to the host name (FQDN) of the admin server and install it in the web browser.
After that, export the certificate installed in the web browser and import it to JRE7.
