This chapter provides details of the backup operation performed by AdvancedCopy Manager on Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 or later. AdvancedCopy Manager backups are created in units of partitions.
The backup operation using the HP-UX version of AdvancedCopy Manager's agent as described in this chapter can be used with AdvancedCopy Manager's manager component running under other OS environments such as Windows, Solaris or Linux.
