When an ETERNUS Disk storage system is first detected on the following versions of Windows Server 2008 or later, the disk might be "offline" status.
Windows Server 2008 Enterprise
Windows Server 2008 Datacenter
Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise
Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter
Windows Server 2012 Datacenter
In Windows Server 2008 or later, it is possible to put the disk in the online/offline state using the "Disk Management" window and the DISKPART tool.
This status must be changed if the disk is to be used for AdvancedCopy Manager copy operations.
