Follow the procedure below to change the port number for the AdvancedCopy Manager for the Management Server transactions.
If, in the Management Server transaction, it is defined as a copy source or copy destination volume with the replication management function, delete the copy source/destination volume settings.
Refer to "Deleting a source volume or replica volume" in the ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Operation Guide (for Solaris) or ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Operation Guide (for Linux) for information on how to delete the settings.
Stop the Management Server transaction.
Refer to the manual for the cluster software for information on how to stop the transaction.
In the primary and secondary nodes for the Management Server transactions, change the following port number which is set to /etc/services.
AdvancedCopy Manager transaction communication daemon (stgxfws_logical node name)
Start up the Management Server transaction.
Refer to the manual for the cluster software for information on how to start up the transaction.
Create the change instruction file for the server information in a node in which the Management Server transaction is operating.
Execute the stgxfwcmmodsrv command with the -f option specified to change the port number. Refer to "stgxfwcmmodsrv (Server information change command)" in the ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Operation Guide (for Solaris) or ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Operation Guide (for Linux) for information on the command.
If using the replication management function, rebuild the replication management environment.
Perform the procedures starting from the section "Configuring the source volume and replica volume" and onwards in the ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Operation Guide (for Solaris) or ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Operation Guide (for Linux).
