Install the AdvancedCopy Manager's agent of this version, and setup the operating environment.
About installation
For non-clustered systems:
Refer to "Installation of AdvancedCopy Manager's agent" in the ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup Guide for this version to install the AdvancedCopy Manager's agent.
For clustered systems:
Refer to "Installation of ETERNUS SF Agent" in the ETERNUS SF Cluster Environment Setup Guide for this version to install the AdvancedCopy Manager's agent.
However, if the system environment is Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (for Intel64), in step 3 of "Installation procedure of AdvancedCopy Manager's agent (for Linux)" in the ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup Guide, select the installation directory that is stated for "OS type - Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (for Intel64), not using the Symfoware linkage function", even if you are actually using the Symfoware linkage function.
Setting up the operating environment
For non-clustered systems:
Refer to "Setup of AdvancedCopy Manager's agent" in the ETERNUS SF Installation and Setup Guide for this version to setup the AdvancedCopy Manager's agent.
Afterwards, start the AdvancedCopy Manager's agent on the Managed Server. Refer to "Starting and Stopping Daemons" or "Starting and Stopping Services" in the ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Operation Guide relevant to the OS of the Managed Server for information on the start procedure.
For clustered systems:
Refer to "Customization of Managed Server Transactions" in the ETERNUS SF Cluster Environment Setup Guide for this version to setup the AdvancedCopy Manager's agent.
