When the backup and the restoration function of the Exchange Database are used, release the setting in reference to the manual of the previous version.
For Windows Server 2003:

Stopping backup copy process
Delete the copy set of the hardware provider
Delete source and replica volumes
Cancel the hardware provider registration
For Windows Server 2008:
