This chapter describes the upgrade procedure for Storage Cruiser Version 13.x and 14.x.
Point
For Storage Cruiser programs, the Upgrade Installation can be performed for the Storage Cruiser's manager only.
For upgrading the Storage Cruiser's agent, perform uninstallation and then perform a new installation of this version. Refer to "4.2 Upgrading the Storage Cruiser's agent" for details.
If upgrading Storage Cruiser, ensure that the Storage Cruiser's manager version is the same or higher than the Storage Cruiser's agent version.
If upgrading Storage Cruiser, the following information cannot be imported from the previous version:

User account for the GUI client
If AdvancedCopy Manager and AdvancedCopy Manager Copy Control Module are both installed on the same server, when upgrading, both AdvancedCopy Manager and AdvancedCopy Manager Copy Control Module will be upgraded at the same time. Therefore, perform backups of the previous versions before starting the upgrade.
Note
The GUI client has been replaced with the Web Console.
If the GUI client is installed, uninstall it.
