4.14.5 Change the iSCSI port settings

The procedure to change iSCSI port settings is as follows:

1. On the global navigation tab, click Storage.
   The registered ETERNUS Disk storage systems are displayed on the Main pane.

2. On the Main pane, click the target ETERNUS Disk storage system.

3. On the Category pane, click Connectivity.
   The port type list is displayed on the Main pane.

4. On the Main pane, click the digit of Number of Ports field for iSCSI port.
   The iSCSI port list is displayed on the Main pane.

5. On the Main pane, check the target port checkbox.

6. When changing iSCSI port, click Modify iSCSI Port under Port on the Action pane. When changing iSCSI port mode, click Modify iSCSI Port Mode under Port on the Action pane.
   The information input screen is displayed.

7. Enter the necessary information, and then click Modify.

Note

• If the port is iSCSI-RA, Transfer Rate and iSCSI Name cannot be changed by the Web Console.
  If it needs to be changed, use the ETERNUS Web GUI.

• The deletion and preservation information when the iSCSI port mode is changed are as follows:

  Port mode before it changes	Port mode after change

  CA	-	Host Affinity/LUN Mapping information is deleted	Host Affinity/LUN Mapping information is preserved
  RA	REC path information is deleted	-	REC path information is preserved
  CA/RA	Host Affinity/LUN Mapping information is preserved REC path information is deleted	Host Affinity/LUN Mapping information is deleted REC path information is preserved	-

• When the iSCSI port mode is changed, iSCSI port setting returns to initial value.

• Setting the IP address, link local IP address, connection IP address, iSCSI name, or iSCSI alias name of an iSCSI port the same as another iSCSI port may not be allowed. Refer to [Note] in "Connectivity Management" in the ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Operation Guide for details.
