This section explains how to delete a tenant folder.
When a tenant folder is deleted, the resources in that tenant folder are also deleted.
Either move the resources in the tenant folder to another tenant folder in advance, or delete the tenant folder after deleting the resources.
Right-click the tenant folder in the orchestration tree, and select [Delete] from the popup menu.
The [Delete a Tenant] dialog is displayed.
The name of the tenant folder to be deleted is displayed.
If resources are included in the target tenant folder to be deleted, a list of those resources is displayed in "Associated resources".
Confirm the list, and check the "Delete this tenant." checkbox.
Note
When the "Delete this tenant." checkbox is checked, the <OK> button will be enabled.
Click <OK>.
The target tenant folder is deleted.
The user groups and users belonging to it are also deleted. When the user groups and users also have roles for other tenant folders, they are not deleted.
When using user management by Single Sign-On or directory services, although the user information from management information of Resource Orchestrator is deleted, the user information of the directory service is not deleted.
From the command-line, execute rcxadm tenant delete.
For details on the rcxadm tenant delete command, refer to "1.3.13 rcxadm tenant" of the "Reference Guide (Resource Management) CE".
Note
When an L-Server is created in a tenant folder, deleting the tenant folder will also delete the L-Server. For details on how to delete an L-Server, refer to the cautionary notes of "11.4 Deleting an L-Server".
