This subsection explains how to register licenses in a disk storage system.
Using the Web Console

Using the line command
The following procedure is required to register a license:
Confirm the license ID of the license to register with the esflm listid command.
> esflm listid |
Execute the following command:
If the server on which the command is executed can access the target ETERNUS Disk storage system:
> esflm add License-ID License-Key -i IP-Address -u User-Name -p Password |
If the server on which the command is executed cannot access the target ETERNUS Disk storage system:
> esflm add License-ID License-Key -s Serial-Number |
