The uninstallation procedure of AdvancedCopy Manager's agent (for AIX) is performed as follows:
Log in as "root (super user)" on the server on which to uninstall AdvancedCopy Manager's agent.
Execute the following command:
By executing below command, most of the packages described in "A.2.2 Program components of AdvancedCopy Manager's agent" will be deleted.
# /opt/swstorage/setup/stg/swunsetup |
If the following line is defined in the /etc/rc.shutdown file, delete this line.
/opt/FJSVswstf/daemon/stop_smgr0 |
Reboot the system.
The uninstallation of AdvancedCopy Manager's agent (for AIX) is completed.
Information
If you are planning to install AdvancedCopy Manager's agent again in a different directory after executing the swunsetup command, make sure that no package directories described in "A.2.2 Program components of AdvancedCopy Manager's agent" remain.
In some cases, executing the swunsetup command will not delete the package directories described in "A.2.2 Program components of AdvancedCopy Manager's agent". If these are unnecessary, delete them manually.
