The uninstallation procedure of Storage Cruiser's agent (for VMware) is performed as follows:
Log in as "root (super user)" on the server (Service Console of VMware ESX Server) on which to uninstall the Storage Cruiser's agent.
Execute the following command:
# rpm -e FJSVssage |
Note
If you are planning to install Storage Cruiser's agent again in a different directory after executing the rpm command, make sure that no FJSVssage package directories remain. For information on the FJSVssage package directory, refer to "2.3.3.1 Required disk space for installation".
If the FJSVssage package directory contains any user-specific files, the uninstallation process cannot delete these files; due to this, executing the rpm command will also not delete the FJSVssage package directory. In such a case, delete the directory manually.
Delete the sscruisera line from the /etc/services file.
Reboot the system.
# /sbin/shutdown -r now |
The uninstallation of Storage Cruiser's agent (for VMware) is completed.
