Follow the steps in the procedure below to modify the firewall settings. Alternatively, disable the firewall.
From the [Control Panel], click [Check firewall status] to open the [Windows Firewall] window.
On the left side pane, click [Advanced settings] to open the [Windows Firewall with Advanced Security] window.
In the list at the left of the window, select [Inbound Rules].
In the [Action] menu, select [New Rule] to open the [New Inbound Rule Wizard] window.
In the [Rule Type] step, select [Port], and then click the [Next] button.
In the [Protocol and Ports] step, select [TCP] and [Specific local ports:].
Enter the port number allocated to the communication service into the [Specific local ports:] text field, and then click the [Next] button.
In the [Action] step, select [Allow the connection], and then click the [Next] button.
In the [Profile] step, check [Domain], [Private] and [Public] depending on your network environment, and then click the [Next] button.
In the [Name] step, specify the [Name] and [Description] of the new rule as necessary, and then click the [Finish] button.
If you want to modify a scope, display the properties of the [Inbound Rules] for which to modify the scope.
Specify the permitted scope for communication with other servers that are not operating AdvancedCopy Manager on the [Scope] tab in the [Properties] window.
In the [Windows Firewall] window, click the [OK] button to finish your settings.
From the [Control Panel], open the [Windows Firewall] window.
Click the [Add Port] button on the [Exceptions] tab to open the [Add Port] window.
Make the following settings for the communication service:
[name]: Specify any name
[Port number]: Specify the port number assigned to the communication service at the time of installation, and select "TCP" for the protocol.
If you want to modify a scope, display the properties of the [Inbound Rules] for which to modify the scope.
Specify the permitted scope for communication with other servers that are not operating AdvancedCopy Manager on the [Scope] tab in the [Properties] window.
Click the [OK] button in the [Add Port] window.
Click the [OK] button in the [Windows Firewall] window.
