NOTE1: Express cannot run on Solaris environment. Install it in Windows or Linux environment.
NOTE2: The AdvancedCopy Manager Copy Control Module is included in the ETERNUS SF Manager, but can also be installed as a standalone program.
Note
When you install the Storage Cruiser's manager and the AdvancedCopy Manager's manager on different Management Servers, note the following:
Management Server where the Storage Cruiser's manager installed:
Register only the Storage Cruiser license.
The AdvancedCopy Manager's agent cannot be installed on the Management Server.
ETERNUS SF Manager is the integrated product structure that enables daemons/services for the AdvancedCopy Manager's manager to run.
Check the [SNMP Trap Setting] check box when registering an ETERNUS Disk storage system if necessary.
For registering servers, register as Managed Servers where the Storage Cruiser's agent is used.
Management Servers where the AdvancedCopy Manager's manager installed:
Register only the AdvancedCopy Manager license.
ETERNUS SF Manager is the integrated product structure that enables daemons/services for the Storage Cruiser's manager to run.
Do not check the [SNMP Trap Setting] check box when registering an ETERNUS Disk storage system.
