4.16.2 Register the FC switch

The procedure to register the FC switch is as follows:

1. On the global navigation tab, click [Network].

2. On the Action pane, click [Discover] under [Switch].
   The information input screen is displayed.

3. Enter the necessary information, and click the [Discover] button.
   The information registration screen is displayed.

4. Check the target switch checkbox.

5. Specify the FC switch information, and click the [Register] button at the lower right.

Point

First register the Principal switch and then register all the FC switches that make up the fabric.

If the Principal switch has not registered first or unknown, on completion of registration of all the FC switches making up the fabric, perform "4.16.7 Reload the FC switch configuration information" on all the FC switches making up the fabric.
