4.10.2 Add the access path to ETERNUS Disk storage system

The procedure to add an access path to ETERNUS Disk storage system is as follows:

1. On the global navigation tab, click [Server].

2. On the Category pane, click [Access Path].
   The connection information for a server and storage devices is displayed on the Main pane.

3. On the Action pane, click [Add (ETERNUS)] under [Access Path].

4. Click the target server radio button on the [Select Server] screen.
   Enter the necessary information, and click the [Next] button.

5. Click the target storage device radio button on the [Select Storage] screen.
   Enter the necessary information, and click the [Next] button.

6. Click the target Affinity Group on the [Select Affinity Group] screen.
   Enter the necessary information, and click the [Next] button.

7. Confirm the information, and click the [Add] button at the lower right.

Note

Even if this operation is interrupted, the new Affinity/LUN group created during this operation is not deleted.
To delete the new Affinity/LUN group created during this operation, perform the operation "4.14.15 Delete the Affinity/LUN group".

Information

If you create a new Affinity/LUN group, you can check by the [Assigned] column of the volume list whether the selected volume is assigned to other Affinity/LUN group.
