4.7.7 Register/reload of Hyper-V host

The procedure of server registration/re-loading of the Hyper-V host is as follows:

  1. On the global navigation tab, click [Storage].
    The registered ETERNUS Disk storage systems are displayed on the Main pane.

  2. On the Main pane, click the target ETERNUS Disk storage system.

  3. On the Category pane, click [Correlation].

  4. On the Correlation pane, click [End to End View (Hyper-V)].

  5. On the Main pane, check the target server checkbox to register as a Hyper-V host.

  6. On the Action pane, click [Register/Reload] under [Hyper-V Host].
    The information input screen is displayed.

  7. Enter the necessary information, and click the [Confirm] button at the lower right.

Point

  • To register the server as a Hyper-V host, it is required that the server has already been registered in this product.
    For the server registration method, refer to "4.17.1 Register the server".

  • The Hyper-V configuration information is not automatically updated. If you have changed the configuration information, perform the above procedure to reload the Hyper-V host configuration information.

  • For a multipath configuration, the End to End list for Hyper-V displays only one path.

  • When the Hyper-V host information is reloaded on a multipath configuration, the using path information is displayed.

  • If initiator IP address is not set to the iSCSI initiator when connecting it, the correlation management of Hyper-V is not supported.
