This section describes how to start Agents.
Privileges required for execution
[Windows]
Administrator privileges are required. If the operating system being used is Windows Server 2008 or later, execute the startup process as an administrator.
[Linux]
System administrator (superuser) privileges are required.
Startup method
[Windows]
Issue the command below:
"%F4AN_INSTALL_PATH%\F4ANswnc\bin\swncctrl" start |
[Linux]
Issue the command below:
/opt/FJSVswnc/bin/swncctrl start |
Execution results
The message below will be displayed if the command succeeds:
swncctrl start : SUCCESS |
The message below will be displayed if the command fails:
swncctrl start : FAILURE <return code> |
If the command fails, then check whether setup has been performed correctly (refer to "Chapter 3 Setup" for information). Refer to the Systemwalker Runbook Automation Reference Guide for information on return codes.
