This section describes how to set up the Agents that automatically collect Business Server configuration information from Relay Servers.
Point
A list of the Agents that have been set up and are recognized by the CMDB Manager can be displayed using the mdradmin command (with the "-l" option) for the CMDB Manager. Refer to "mdradmin (Agent Management Command)" in the Systemwalker Runbook Automation Reference Guide for details on the mdradmin command.
The procedure for setting up Agents in systems where Relay Servers are operating in a cluster environment is exactly the same as for non-cluster environments. Install Agents on both the active node and the standby node in the cluster by using the same procedure as for non-cluster environments.
To discover nodes with IPv6 addresses, specify DNS server for reference in network configuration. Also, set to reverse resolution to be able to convert from IPv6 address of Relay Server to domain name on DNS server, and set up a DNS server and register the IPv6 addresses of the nodes to be discovered on the server.
For the host name of Relay Server which set in DNS server, specify the same host name which confirmed by the "hostname" or "uname -n" command.
