In addition to being started according to a schedule, or manually, Automated Operation Processes can also be started automatically when a monitored event (such as an error with a Business Server) occurs.
Automated Operation Processes can be executed without having to be aware of system differences, because the operations that are performed absorb platform differences and system configuration differences by obtaining configuration information from the CMDB.
