4.14.5 Change the iSCSI port settings

The procedure to change iSCSI port settings is as follows:

  1. On the global navigation tab, click [Storage].
    The registered ETERNUS Disk storage systems are displayed on the Main pane.

  2. On the Main pane, click the target ETERNUS Disk storage system.

  3. On the Category pane, click [Connectivity].
    The port type list is displayed on the Main pane.

  4. On the Main pane, click the digit of Number of Ports field for iSCSI port.
    The iSCSI port list is displayed on the Main pane.

  5. On the Main pane, check the target port checkbox.

  6. When changing iSCSI port, click [Modify iSCSI Port] under the [Port] on the Action pane. When changing iSCSI port mode, click [Modify iSCSI Port Mode] under the [Port] on the Action pane.
    The information input screen is displayed.

  7. Enter the necessary information, and click the [Modify] button on the lower right.

Note

  • If the port is iSCSI-RA, Transfer Rate and iSCSI Name cannot be changed by the Web Console.
    If it needs to be changed, use the ETERNUS Web GUI.

  • The deletion and preservation information when the iSCSI port mode is changed are as follows:

    • Host Affinity/LUN Mapping information is deleted

    • Host Affinity/LUN Mapping information is preserved

    • Host Affinity/LUN Mapping information is deleted

  • When the iSCSI port mode is changed, iSCSI port setting returns to initial value.
