The procedure to change the REC transfer buffer setting is as follows:
On the global navigation tab, click [Storage].
The registered ETERNUS Disk storage systems are displayed on the Main pane.
On the Main pane, click the target ETERNUS Disk storage system.
On the Category pane, click [Advanced Copy].
On the Advanced Copy pane, click [REC Buffer].
The created REC transfer buffer list is displayed on the Main pane.
On the Action pane, click [Modify] under the [REC Buffer].
The screen to select remote partner is displayed.
Select the remote partner, and click the [Next] button on the lower right.
The information input screen is displayed.
Enter the necessary information, and click the [Modify] button on the lower right.
Note
The REC transfer buffer will be set to both of REC copy source and destination ETERNUS Disk storage systems when using ETERNUS SF. Therefore, free space more than specified as Size is required on both of them.
As for maximum REC transfer buffer capacity of each ETERNUS Disk storage system, please refer to the hardware manual.
