7.3.5 Uninstalling the Uninstallation and Management (middleware)

This section describes how to uninstall the Uninstallation and Management (middleware).

  1. Start the tool and check whether there are any other Fujitsu middleware products left on the system.

    [Windows]

    Start menu:

Select Start >> All Programs >> Fujitsu >> Uninstall (middleware)

    [Linux] [Solaris]

    /opt/FJSVcir/cir/bin/cimanager.sh [-c]

    -c: Command interface

Note: The command will fail if its path includes spaces, so do not move it to a directory with spaces in its name.

  2. If no Fujitsu middleware products have been installed, then issue the command below:

    [Windows]

    C:\FujitsuF4CR\bin\cirremove.exe

    [Linux] [Solaris]

    # /opt/FJSVcir/bin/cirremove.sh

  3. At the uninstallation confirmation prompt, enter "y":

"This software is a tool that is shared with other Fujitsu products. Are you sure you want to remove this software? [y/n]"
  4. Uninstallation will start.

The process will take a few seconds.

  5. Uninstallation will complete.

The directories below and its files will still remain, and must be manually deleted:

    [Windows]

    %SystemDrive%\FujitsuF4CR

    [Linux] [Solaris]

    /var/opt/FJSVcir
