7.2.4 Uninstalling the Business Server

This section describes how to uninstall the Agent for the Business Server.

7.2.4.1 Uninstalling Systemwalker Runbook Automation

Privileges required for execution

[Windows]

• Administrator privileges are required. If the operating system being used is Windows Server 2008, execute the uninstaller as an administrator.

[Linux] [Solaris]

• System administrator (superuser) privileges are required.

Uninstallation procedure

[Windows]

1. Start the uninstaller.

   Select either Programs or All Programs from the Start menu, and select Fujitsu, and then, Uninstall (middleware).

   

   Note

   When uninstalling Systemwalker Runbook Automation because of installation failure or for some other reason, Systemwalker Runbook Automation may be displayed in the Incomplete install tab. If Systemwalker Runbook Automation is not displayed in the Incomplete install tab, click the Incomplete install tab to check that Systemwalker Runbook Automation is displayed there. The subsequent uninstallation procedure is the same even if Systemwalker Runbook Automation is displayed in the Incomplete install tab.

2. Select Systemwalker Runbook Automation (Business Server), and click the Remove button.

   Click the Uninstall button.

   

3. Uninstallation will complete.

   Click the Exit button.

   

4. Restart the system.

   Click the Yes button.

   

[Linux] [Solaris]

1. Start the uninstaller.

   # /opt/FJSVcir/cir/bin/cimanager.sh -c

2. The select window of uninstallation products will be displayed.

   Select Systemwalker Runbook Automation ( Business Server). If enter "q", uninstaller will be quit.

   Loading the Software Uninstallation and Management function.
   
   
   Installed software
   1. Systemwalker Runbook Automation (Business Server) V15.1.0
   
   Enter the number for the software to be uninstalled.
   [number,q]
   =>1

3. Check the installation settings.

   Ensure that the settings are correct, and then, enter "y". If a setting must be corrected, then enter "b" to go back to the previous window.

       Version: V15.1.0
       Company name: Fujitsu Limited
       Installation directory: /opt
       Installation date: 2012-6-9
   
   
   The uninstallation process will start. Are you sure?

4. Uninstallation will start.

   The message below will be displayed:

5. Uninstallation will complete.

   The message below will be displayed:
