6.1.1 Command Types

GLS has the following three types of command. They are all executed from the Windows command prompt.

• For use with virtual adapters

• For displaying operational status

• For collecting diagnostic data.

The table below gives a complete list of the commands that are used in GLS.

	hanetnic	add	Adds and deletes a physical adapter. Changes the operational status of a virtual adapter.

	hanetbackup		Backs up the configuration information for GLS.

For displaying operational status	dsphanet		Displays the operational or monitoring status of GLS.
For collecting diagnostic data	hanet_snap		Collects diagnostic data used in solving problems.
