This section explains L-Platforms.
L-Platform is a logical resource to manage the entire system (platform) that connects two or more servers like for instance two or more hierarchical systems (Web/AP/DB) in the network collectively.
The setting and the operation of two or more servers, storage, and networks can be done by an easy operation by the use of L-Platform.
Resource Orchestrator can be used to deploy and operate L-Platforms.
An L-Platform defines the following combination of resources:
L-Server
It is a logical server that manages physical server and virtual server (VM) together.
For details on L-Servers, refer to "2.2.3 L-Server".
Network resources
It is a resource that expresses the network where it connects between L-Server. A switch and a virtual switch can be automatically set by using the network resource, and L-Server be connected with the network.
For details, refer to "2.2.7 Simplifying Networks".
Firewall resources
In a hierarchical system, this resource ensures the security of each tier.
