Explanation of Items
OS
Select one of the following software operating systems:
Windows
Linux
Windows (64 bit)
Linux (64 bit)
Software name
Enter up to 85 characters (excluding <, >, &, ", and ') for the software name
If this is filtered by category and operating system, the list of registered software information will be displayed. The software name can also be selected from the list and edited.
Version
Enter up to 10 bytes (excluding <, >, &, ", and ') for the software version
License
Enter up to 85 characters (excluding <, >, &, ", and ') for the software license information
If OS was specified for Category, specify the product key for the Windows operating system. This cannot be specified in Linux operating systems.
When the virtualization software is VMware
For Windows Server 2003, specify the product key for the Windows operating system.
For an operating system that is not Windows Server 2003, specify " " (an empty string).
When the virtualization software is Hyper-V
Specify the product key for the Windows operating system.
Support
Enter up to 85 characters (excluding <, >, &, ", and ') for the software support information.
Operation Procedure
Follow the procedure below for operations at the window for setting software information:
Set each of the software information items.
Click the Create button.
The Software tab list window is displayed.
Note
When the Software tab list window is displayed, tenant and keyword filtering, sorting, pages, and selected states are all reset.
