1.25.5 USB Device Individual Identification Registration Information

Functional Specification

Display information of USB device registered in the Management Console.

When USB device information is registered to the Management Console, the registered content has nothing to do with policy settings (*) and it will be sent to all clients (CTs). At the sending of CT policy, it will be updated to the latest information.

*) It refers to the setting of “Use/Do not Use” in [USB Device Individual Identification Function] of the [File Export Prohibition] tab of the policy settings window.

Command Format

FSW11EJ7.EXE <Password> /D /USB [/Silent]

Option

<Password>:

Enter the password specified during installation of the client (CT).

/D:

Display information.

/USB:

Specify it when displaying the registration information of USB device individual identification.

/Silent:

It is the option that is effective in the OS of Windows Vista® or higher. It can avoid displaying the following message after command execution.

When executing on the PC in which the OS is Windows Server® 2008 64-bit edition, Windows Server® 2008 R2, Windows Vista® 64-bit edition or Windows® 7 64-bit edition:

The following information will be displayed.

Item Name

Description

[Permission switch of all USB registered in Management Server]

It is the setting of whether the all the USB devices registered on the Management Server can be used.

  • 0: Not permitted to use.

  • 1: Permitted to use.

[Number of settings for USB device individual identification]

It is the number of USB devices registered as permitted USB in [Detailed Settings] of [USB Device Individual Identification Function] of the File Export Prohibition tab in the policy being applied.
When the value is 0, items after [USB Device - Management No.] will not be output.

[USB Device - Management No.]

It is the number allocated to each registered USB device. It is an integer above 1.
It has nothing to do the registration sequence and display sequence of Management Console.

[Name]

It is the information registered in [USB Device Name] of [Setting Item] in the [USB Device Registration] window of Management Console.

[Device Name]

It is the information registered in [Device Name] of [USB Device Information] in the [USB Device Registration] window of Management Console.

[Identification Method]

It is the information registered in [Identification Method of USB Device] in the [USB Device Registration] window of Management Console.

  • 1: When [Complete Match] is selected (Identify Manufacturer ID, Product ID and Internal Serial No.)

  • 2: When [Product Match] is selected (Identify Manufacturer ID and Product ID.)

  • 3: When [Serial Match] is selected (Identify Manufacturer ID + Internal Serial No.)

[Manufacturer ID]

It is the information registered in [Manufacturer ID] of [USB Device Information] in the in the [USB Device Registration] window of Management Console.

[Product ID]

It is the information registered in [Product ID] of [USB Device Information] in the in the [USB Device Registration] window of Management Console.

[Internal Serial No.]

It is the information registered in [Internal Serial No.] of [USB Device Information] in the in the [USB Device Registration] window of Management Console.
It cannot be displayed when [Product Match] is selected in [Identification Method].

[Device Control]

It is the value converted from binary bit array into decimal number based on the [Access Settings] information registered in the [File Export Prohibition - USB Device Individual Identification Function - Detailed Settings] window of [USB Device Individual Identification Function] in the policy settings of Management Console.

  • 10 (1-0-1-0): Read-only

  • 15(1-1-1-1): Read and write

    • 12(1-1-0-0): Write limited to when the File Export Utility is selected

    • 14(1-1-1-0): Read limited to when the File Export Utility is selected

Period for Use

Display the period for use set for the USB device.
Display format: YYYYMMDD format
When the period for use is not set, it is displayed as 99999999.

Period for Use (when offline)

It is the same content as [Period for Use].

[Number of USB Device Record]

It is the number of items of USB connection record that is recorded in the client (CT) when communication with the Management Server cannot be performed. When the value is 0, items after [USB Device - Management No.] will not be output.

[USB Device - Record No.]

It is the number of the USB device connection record that is recorded in the client (CT) when communication with Management Server cannot be performed. It is an integer above 1.
It has nothing to do the registration sequence and display sequence of Management Console.
