The backup operation can be performed on one of the following servers:
Multiple Managed Servers are unified and managed centrally. The Management Server can also operate as a Managed Server.
A Management Server can also serve as a Managed Server.
Note that AdvancedCopy Manager running on a Management Server must run in either Windows, Solaris or Linux OS environment.
AdvancedCopy Manager operations can be performed on the Managed Server.
The AIX version of AdvancedCopy Manager can also be used to operate a Managed Server.
Note
The locale of the internal code system (code system specified when installing AdvancedCopy Manager on the Management Server) used by AdvancedCopy Manager must be installed on all Managed Servers.
