One-to-one WWPN zoning setting is recommended in this software to realize the complete zoning security management as described in "4.2.1 SN200 (Brocade) Fibre Channel switch", though port zoning is possible to be performed. The procedure to change into one-to-one WWPN zoning setting is as follows.
Confirm that all the monitored devices are connected with all the switch ports.
Change the sanma.conf. Refer to "A.2 sanma.conf Parameter" and specify 1 in "SET_SW_ZONING_ALWAYS".
Either perform an update to the setting file using the Web Console or restart Manager to reflect the content of this file.
In the Web Console, add an access path corresponding to the port zoning.
After adding of the access path is complete, check that WWPN zoning which indicates information identical to that of the port zoning is displayed on the Web Console, and then delete the specified port zoning.
Note
For the multiple ports zoning setting, do not delete the multiple port zoning until WWPN zoning corresponding to each port zoning.
Repeat the procedure from steps 3 to 4.
If necessary, return the setting that is executed in step 2 to the former setting.
To change the zoning setting can be executed in zone administration window in WEBTOOLS in Fibre Channel switch and by Telnet function.
Point
The change to the zoning settings is performed on a Fibre Channel switch equipped with the latest firmware in the fabric (all of the Fibre Channel switches in the cascading connection) that contains the Fibre Channel switch selected when this properties window is opened.
