This section explains the operation method of user management using the directory service.
It is necessary to add or change user entries on the directory service side.
For details on adding, modifying, deleting, or referring to user entries, refer to the documentation of the directory services.
Login
Users can only log in when there are users roles and access scopes are allocated in Resource Orchestrator, and the user information is in the directory service.
Add a User
Use the following procedure to add a user:
In the directory service, add a user.
After adding a user to the directory service, it is necessary to add the user to the user group and allocate a role. Refer to "9.1 Registering User Accounts" of the "User's Guide for Infrastructure Administrators (Resource Management) CE".
Change the User Password
User passwords are not included in the management information of Resource Orchestrator. Perform authentication using the user password registered in the directory service.
Use one of following cases to modify a user password.

Change User ID
Use the following procedure to change the user ID.
In the directory service, modify the user ID (DN).
Use the rcxadm user command or the ROR console to change a user ID.
Delete a User
Use the following procedure to delete a user:
In the directory service, delete a user.
Confirm the directory service information is not used in the user management of other systems, and delete the information.
