This section describes how to register or modify information managed as ledger as the asset information (device information and contract information) managed in the management ledger.
Besides, when the asset information (device information and contract information) has been in use and registered, the file for registration can be created by outputting the registered information. By editing and registering the output file, the information can be updated collectively.
Note
[User Memo (DTPA)] is not displayed in the initial settings
For [User Memo (DTPA)] that can be registered or modified as the device information according to the following procedure, if [User Memo (DTPA) Related] has not been set in the window item name setting, even if being registered or modified, it will not be displayed in the window.
For window item name setting, please refer to “9.1.6 Set Window Item Name”.
Notes during modification
When modifying the asset information (device information and contract information), please pay attention to the following issues.
Modify the device information with [Asset Number] set
Modify the device information with consistent [Asset Number].
When the modified device information exists as Inventory information, [Device Name] and [User ID] cannot be modified. Please input the same content as the registered information. Items other than [Asset Number]. [User ID] and [Device Name] can be modified.
Modify the device information with [Asset Number] unset
Modify the device information with [Device Name] matching [User ID].
At this time, [Asset Number] should be set. If it has not been set manually, please enable automatic collection setting.
Modify [Class]
In the device where [Class] has been set as “PC”, it cannot be modified as the classification of non “PC”.
Modify the contract information with [Contract No.] matching [Contract Class].
But before [Contract No.] is prohibited, [Contract Class] can be modified from [Lease] as [Rent], or from [Rent] as [Lease].
Procedures
The procedure for registering/modifying the ledger is as follows:
Logon to AC menu.
Select [Register/Modify Device Inf].
The following window will be displayed
Register/Modify the asset information (device information and contract information).
Set the following information and click the [OK] button.

Displayed only when selecting [Register/Modify Device Information].
Input the annotation and click the [OK] button.

[Input Annotation] | Input the annotation for the content with device information collectively registered/modified. Including single-byte alphanumeric characters, single-byte symbols and multi-byte characters, 64 characters at most can be set for the annotation. Besides, the annotation input here is valid when updating the new added device or the following device information.

Confirm the registration/modification result.

When information which cannot be registered/modified, confirm the details.
Select the information from [Register/Modify Fault List of Details] and click the [Details] button.
