Command Format
The notation conventions used in describing commands in this chapter are listed in the table below.
Item | Description |

[ ] | Denotes an option that can be omitted. |
[ | ] | Denotes multiple options that can be omitted. The vertical bar ( | ) is used to separate options. |
{ | } | Denotes multiple options, of which only one can and must be specified. The vertical bar ( | ) is used to separate options. |
Italics | Denotes a variable character string (as a value for an option). In the example below, "vadapter" is the variable string. |
