When the failover occurs while operating NetWorker on PRIMECLUSTER, the cluster application on the node where the resource failure occurred becomes the Faulted state. Under such a state, you are not able to back up or recover data because the NetWorker client daemon has stopped.
It is necessary to clear the Faulted state of the cluster application and bring it to the Standby state to back up or recover data on the node where the resource failure occurred.
Solve the problem of NetWorker by the method similar to "3.3.1 Corrective Action against Failover".
Clear the Faulted state of the cluster application to bring it to the Standby state on the node where the resource failure occurred.
# /opt/SMAW/SMAWRrms/bin/hvutil -c application_name
application_name is the cluster application name. Confirm the cluster application name by the hvdisp command of PRIMECLUSTER.
