This chapter provides details of the backup operation performed by AdvancedCopy Manager AdvancedCopy Manager backups are created in units of partitions.
The backup operation using the HP-UX version of AdvancedCopy Manager's Agent as described in this chapter can be used with AdvancedCopy Manager's Manager component running under other OS environments such as Windows, Solaris or Linux.
