Linux Manager | 14.1 or before | FJSVswstt is used as the SNMP trap monitoring daemon. No special settings are required to use FJSVswstt. If in use with the ServerView AlarmService, the ServerView trap transfer program is required. If in use with any of the Systemwalker Centric Manager versions or with ServerView Resource Coordinator VE V2.1.1 to V2.1.3, no special settings are required.

14.2 | snmptrapd in the OS standard net-snmp package is used as the SNMP trap monitoring daemon. The snmptrapd settings must be changed in order to use snmptrad. If in use with the ServerView AlarmService, the ServerView trap distributor program(SMAWtrpsv) is not required. If in use with any of the Systemwalker Centric Manager versions or with ServerView Resource Coordinator VE V2.1.1 to V2.1.3, the settings indicating use with the ServerView AlarmService are required at the Systemwalker Centric Manager or ServerView Resource Coordinator VE side.
